General Nursing is a study subject aimed at developing fundamental nursing knowledge and practical skills. During the course, students will learn to assess patients’ basic needs and health status, plan and perform safe nursing interventions, and apply the principles of infection prevention and control, personal hygiene, and patient safety.
The course covers patient personal hygiene, assessment of vital signs, nursing care of patients with fever, pressure injury risk assessment and prevention, and the recognition and management of respiratory and other common nursing problems. Practical sessions focus on developing skills in patient care, observation and monitoring, nursing care planning, documentation, and professional communication.
